Winnie The Pooh... ... and Piglet too! A hand painted nursery for the new baby! And ofcourse, this baby will be a Cubs fan! :) Honey bees... (or Hunny bees) fly around the room and were also painted on the wall by the light switch. This Winnie The Pooh Nursery was completed in one day! (Background colors on the wall were previously painted.) Every nursery and children's room I paint is done by hand and therefore a unique creation. Notice the baseball in the photo below, with a drip of hunny on top. This, along with the Cubs logo on Pooh Bear's shirt, was added to reflect this family's love of Chicago baseball! ..... oops! It's a Boy!
It's not often I get to paint a nursery twice for the same baby! But such was the case here. Carol received quite a shock when she found out her soon to arrive baby was in fact, a boy!!! I painted the room to match the "Baby Cocoa" bedding set shown in the photo on left. Click on the image to see a close up of these adorable hand painted characters!

This nursery was hand painted to match the " Peek-a-Boo Pals" bedding set. The baby's name will also be added in the space above the crib using large wooden letters spelling out his name. |

For Your Daughter's Room...
How about Hot Pink and Zebra Stripes!!! These zebra stripes were hand painted to coordinate with the zebra striped comforter and window treatments!
They were painted just on this portion of the ceiling, over the entrance of the bedroom. The rest of the room was painted this fantastic hot pink color!
